Grammy nominated country star Thomas Rhett – who’s gearing up for his BETTER IN BOOTS TOUR kicking off this June – is the latest unsuspecting target in the Webby nominated comedy series PrankU. As the accomplice, his wife Lauren is fully in on the stunt, helping the PrankU team set the stage for the ultimate surprise. Thomas’ appearance is kicking off the slate of upcoming episodes featuring country stars like Kip Moore and Dustin Lynch.
In this week’s episode, everything seems normal as Thomas and Lauren get in the car with their driver, but things quickly take a bizarre turn as they start to veer off course. What Thomas doesn’t know is that the driver is actually an actor pretending to be blind. The plot thickens when the driver gets a frantic call from his “son” on speakerphone, alarmed that someone who can “barely see,” is behind the wheel.
