Kentucky-raised viral streamer Tyler Booth brings warmth and sincerity in his new single, “Sunshine,” available now on all digital platforms. The uplifting tune melts into a gentle guitar riff comparing his lover to sunshine. “I kept wondering when you’d show, I lost faith a time or two” but ultimately, “you’re warming up my soul.” Notably, “Booth brings authenticity to the genre in a way few others can,” (Fandom Daily), and the comforting “Sunshine” – written solely by Booth – does just that in a delicately delivered manner that feels like light at the end of the tunnel.
“I wrote sunshine about a person in my life that brightens my day,” Booth said of the release. “f you have someone in your life that does that for you, and helps you live on the bright side a little more than you’re used to, then this one will strike a chord.”
“Sunshine” is Booth’s second 2025 release. His first, “Talkin’ White Trash,” “sets the tone for a collection that leans into Booth’s signature mix of traditional country, bluegrass, and Southern rock” (Country Evolution), which listeners will hear more of on his upcoming EP, due out in June. The official video for “Talkin’ White Trash,” out last Friday, was inspired by his own small town upbringing and finds Booth dancing between the contrasting lifestyles of backwoods simplicity and wealthy excess. The visual premiered exclusively with The Heartland Network.
