Texas country legends collide as the Randy Rogers Band teams up with Platinum-selling artist, Parker McCollum, for their highly anticipated new single, “Is This Thing Workin’,” out now. This collaboration marks a full-circle moment for the two artists, whose friendship and musical partnership over the last decade. The song, co-written by Randy Rogers, Parker McCollum and Monty Criswell, blends the raw emotion and storytelling that defines Texas country with a modern edge brought by McCollum’s signature sound.

The announcement came via a joint Instagram video, where both artists encouraged fans to pre-save the track and teased the official cover art. The release has already generated buzz across social media, with fans eager to hear the fusion of two generations of Texas country.
“Is This Thing Workin’” follows the band’s first new release of 2025, “Break Itself” – a reflective track that takes responsibility for the mistakes which led to a relationship coming to an end. “Break Itself” was the band’s first new music release in two years after hitting the studio with producer, Jedd Hughes.
