Randy Travis has released “I Know Where I’d Be Without You,” adding another song to the lead-up to Same Old Way. The track arrived October 16, ahead of the album’s November 13 release.

The song centers on gratitude for a relationship that changes a person’s life. Its narrator looks beyond self-reliance and pride to recognize the love and support that have kept him grounded.

Another preview of “Same Old Way”

“I Know Where I’d Be Without You” joins the previously released “Fish On,” “I Don’t Care,” “Set The Blues Back” and the album’s title track. Warner Records Nashville is releasing the project, which gathers previously unheard material from Travis’ recording archive.

The 12-track album also includes “Just Read The Signs,” “Mission Of Love,” “I Catch ’Em,” “There’s No Getting Over You,” “They Called It A Church,” “One Tear At A Time” and “My Greatest Fear.”

The timing places the project in the 40th-anniversary year of Storms Of Life, the 1986 debut that helped establish Travis as a defining voice in traditional country music.

Vinyl edition and remaining tour dates

Along with the single, Travis’ team announced a vinyl edition of Same Old Way. Preorders opened October 16, with the first vinyl copies expected to ship in December; that shipping window is separate from the album’s November 13 release date.

Travis’ More Life Tour continues with his longtime band and guest vocalist James Dupré. Remaining announced stops include Lubbock, Albuquerque and Pueblo in October, followed by Oklahoma City, Topeka and Branson in November.
