Hudson Westbrook Announces Debut Album, Texas Forever

Just 13 months after his first-ever release, skyrocketing Texas country star Hudson Westbrook announces today his 17-track debut album, Texas Forever, out July 25 via Warner Music Nashville / River House Artists. Pre-add / pre-save HERE.

Entirely co-penned by Westbrook and loaded with Texas-grown charisma, the anticipated record is a compelling, effortlessly charming tribute to coming of age in the Lone Star State, and a full-picture introduction to country music’s next big thing.

Created with a close-knit group of collaborators including Neil Medley, Lukas Scott, Reid Haughton, Andrew DeRoberts, Beau Bailey, and more, the album captures some of the hallmarks of Westbrook’s formative years: hard work, personal turmoil, family values, and young love, all painted against the backdrop of a North Texas sky.

“I’m so proud of this record,” Westbrook says. “I love Texas, it’s shaped so much about who I am. We wrote 50-60 songs for this project and narrowed it down to 17 that I think really represent where I am in my life right now and what I love making as an artist: songs that sound like where I grew up, but read like something that just about anyone could relate to.”

“I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to tell y’all about this,” he continues. “I can’t wait for you to hear it and to play it for you on the road this summer.”

Giving fans a first taste today, album title track “Texas Forever” is out now  – listen HERE. Classic and simple in construction, the ballad respects life’s fated pairs, scored with a crooning fiddle over a lush acoustic landscape. Westbrook reminds listeners:

There’s some things that don’t change, like the red letters in the scripture
There’s some things that don’t fade, when the sun shines on the picture
Those guarantees, what’s meant to be, always go together
Like hearts and sleeves, wild and free, you and me, and Texas forever

Most recently, Westbrook released a fresh version of his Top 30 country radio single, “House Again,” reimagining the RIAA Gold-certified hit as a duet with 3-time GRAMMY winner and fellow Texan, Miranda Lambert. Up next, Westbrook makes his CMA Fest debut in Nashville, slating performances at the Chevy Riverfront Stage, Spotify House, and more, before launching his 2025 Summer Tour on June 7.
