The track features Bianca LeDuc on lead vocals and banjo, with Gabriela LeDuc on background vocalsCo-written by the duo with Hannah Huntley, the song includes instrumentation by Brent Wilson on guitarsChris Haughey on bass, and Jerry Roe on drums. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Brent McCollough, it delivers a polished yet emotionally raw sound that underscores its reflective tone.

Bianca and Gabriela share, “‘Made A Liar’ is about slowly losing yourself in a relationship but not realizing it until the end. Looking back on the past two years, you see how someone can slowly turn you into someone you’re not — saying ‘I love you’ just to make that person feel better, losing passion for things you used to care about, and putting all your energy into someone without feeling like you’re getting anything back.”

Alongside the single’s release, Diamond Dixie unveils the track’s official music video, produced by Jon Snip and featuring Bianca’s two-tone mint green 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT. The video weaves together shots of the duo singing and playing in front of the truck with scenes of them driving Tennessee backroads, using the open road as a subtle reflection of moving on.

Ahead of today’s release, Diamond Dixie released the EP’s lead single and accompanying music video, “Ain’t Enough Bars,” a bold breakup anthem that sets the tone for Time Well Wasted and delivers a first glimpse of the confident, relatable, high-energy sound fans can expect from the full project.

Rooted in themes of heartbreak, resilience, and personal growthTime Well Wasted marks a sonic and emotional evolution. With Gabriela shaping melody and Bianca building chord structures and lyrical frameworks, their collaborative process results in music that feels both deeply personal and instantly anthemic. As Bianca puts it, this new era is defined by “unapologetic confidence and heavy sounds that make you want to shout these songs at the top of your lungs.”

Bianca and Gabriela add, “Time is going by no matter what you do in life. If you’re doing something you love or even if you’re miserable, time is going to keep moving. You might as well spend it right, doing what you love with the people you love. As we’ve lived out the experiences that we write about in this EP, we’ve learned to go all in and love to the fullest. Sometimes after a while, you realize some of those relationships aren’t meant for you and it’s time to move on because you want to spend your time well.”

Champions of Ole Red’s nationwide Battle of the Bands, Diamond Dixie has built a reputation as one of country music’s most dynamic rising acts. The Nashville-based duo has opened for Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Little Texas, and Neal McCoy, and performed VIP sets for Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, and Luke Bryan. Their live momentum has carried them to iconic stages including House of Blues, CMA Fest, Hard Rock Tampa, and Runaway Country Music Festival.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Gabriela and Bianca began their musical journey at home, learning guitar from their father and performing publicly from a young age. Influenced by a blend of ’70s and ’80s hard rock and contemporary country storytelling, Diamond Dixie’s sound lives at the intersection of grit and relatability — elevated by an undeniable sisterly chemistry.

Beyond the stage, the duo has cultivated a deeply engaged audience fan base across social platforms, building their community through authenticity and everyday connection. As they step into 2026 with renewed clarity and confidence, Time Well Wasted signals the start of a defining new era — one rooted in creative freedom, fearless storytelling, and songs shaped by real life.
